Within the city limits are two museums, a botanical garden, and architecture dating back to the 13th Century, mixed perfectly with modern buildings. The main square in Soller is beautiful, capped by the Church of Saint Bartholomew. There are a large number of magnificent walks both along the shores of the coast and through the mountains, and there are many great books detailing routes of differing lengths and difficulties.

Soller’s beach is small yet delightful. It is in an almost perfect crescent bay sheltered by two headlands, but there are very few facilities, although there are plans to create a second, artificial, beach with a promenade to match.

Soller is a magnificent resort offering a rare combination of peace, beaches, mountains and unspoilt nature, although if you are looking for a beach resort with bustling nightlife and full beaches, keep looking!
