Menorca’s fiestas are excellent. Although many sceptics think that they are put on for tourists, but these fiestas have been going on since the 14th century. These fiestas tend to start in the early afternoon, which means you can still enjoy a lie-in in your Son Parc apartment before joining in with the revelry.

Fornells is a little fishing village on the other side of Son Parc, with a beautiful sandy beach. It is best known for its sailing and windsurfing facilities, schools and equipment hire. The winds which cross the bay are reliable and stiff, creating perfect conditions for the sports.
