The most popular time to visit is between November and May as this is the drier and hotter time of the year, though in fact between May and October the temperatures are very pleasant. Monsoon showers occur in the summer.

Some airlines fly to Southern Thailand directly, though you may find it better to fly to Bangkok and then catch an internal flight to the south.
