St Cyprien - "Never a dull moment in St Cyprien - all year round entertainment"

St Cyprien is a large village divided into four main areas, St Cyprien, St Cyprien Plage, St Cyprien South and St Cyprien Port (the 'second largest Marina in the Med). The centre of the village is very old and has lots of interesting old buildings as well as the Church which holds many musical festivals throughout the year. The centre of the village with its Square of the Republic also holds many evening spectaculars through out the year. With its local catalan bars and restaurants, as well as many shopping opportunities with its traditional butchers, bakers, hairdressers, florists & beauty parlours, this is a village that is lived in and loved by the local citizens all year round.

St Cyprien Marina is the second largest marina in the med and holds the sailing Tour de France competition and fishing competition's throughout the summer season as well as two major firework displays; one on August 17th and the other to bring in the new year. Surrounded by restaurants, bars, night clubs and a brand new Casino the lively Marina even has a fair for the children in the summer season. Fishing boats arrive in the Marina twice a day - you can buy wonderful fresh fish to cook straight from the nets.

St Cyprien Plage has its own large market which is held two times a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays - as well as wonderful butchers and fishmongers all selling local produce. It also has beach bars and restaurants on its wonderfully manicured beaches with lovely views of the sea and mountains. The plage is also close to the International Golf Course with its many water traps and views of the mountains. To play on this lovely course it is not necessary to be a member of the club. The Club has three restaurants and a large swimming pool. St Cyprien South has a large beach are with lots of beach bar restaurants as well as a large tennis club with indoor and out door courts, squash club, fitness centre and a swimming pool. It also has a large water park Aqualand, there are loads of activities in St Cyprien which is just one large playground.
