Also worth a look is Panicale, which is the main commune in the area and is just a ten minute drive away.

July and August are the hottest months with daily average temperatures of 29C, whilst January and February are the coldest (but also some of the driest) months of the year.
Flights to Tavernelle, Italy
Tavernelle is just 38km from San Egidio Airport (PEG), which is also known as Perugia Airport due to its close proximity to the city. Ryanair offer the only direct services here from the UK, however, and an alternative is to fly to Florence Airport (FLR) – though this will add around an hour extra on to your journey time upon arrival.
