Treviso is an ancient town which has been lovingly restored after heavy bombing during WWII. The maze of twisting streets are wonderful to walk through, with sections of ancient frescos providing colour at every turn. Starting your day with a coffee in one of the pavement cafes in the town’s ancient centre, the Piazza dei Signori, never fails to inspire and invigorate, and with the Treviso Tourist Information offices close by, it is a great place to plan your day in the morning sun.
