If you would prefer to head down to the seaside during the heat of the summer, the Makarska Riviera is not far away from Trogir accommodation, with the town of Promanja fully deserving of its hype.

There are over 2,700 hours of sunshine every year, with temperatures reaching well into the 30’s (˚C) during June, July and August. During the summer, swimming in the sea is a real pleasure, with sea temperatures of over 25˚C throughout the same period. Split Airport (SPU), Croatia’s second largest airport, lies just 3km outside Trogir, meaning that any self catering Trogir accommodation is fantastically easy to reach from the UK.
