Turre is an exceptional spot for outdoor adventures. The equestrian centres of Cabrera, the next door village, are renowned for many miles, with a huge range of trails extending into the hills. Turre is just 5km inland from Mojacar. Mojacar is regularly cited as the most beautiful whitewashed village in the whole of Andalucia, and when you think of the competition, that is acclaim. The village is wonderfully popular, especially with photographers, but it is the nearby 14km stretch of golden sand known as Mojacar Playa that really draws the plaudits. Sailing, windsurfing, kite-surfing, scuba diving and deep sea fishing trips are all sensational from Mojacar Playa; that is, if you can tear yourself away from the sands!
