Turre is an exceptional spot for outdoor adventures. The equestrian centres of Cabrera, the next door village, are renowned for many miles, with a huge range of trails extending into the hills. The stables in Cabrera offer hirelings, guided trails and riding lessons, allowing you to experience full, world class riding holidays in the Sierra Cabrera Mountains. Walking holidays also thrive from Turre accommodation, with many paths of varying length and difficulty opening up the mountains and plains to visitors. Turre is just 5km inland from Mojacar. Mojacar is regularly cited as the most beautiful whitewashed village in the whole of Andalucia, and when you think of the competition, that is acclaim. The village is wonderfully popular, especially with photographers, but it is the nearby 14km stretch of golden sand known as Mojacar Playa that really draws the plaudits. Sailing, windsurfing, kite-surfing, scuba diving and deep sea fishing trips are all sensational from Mojacar Playa; that is, if you can tear yourself away from the sands!

Flights arrive from London, Manchester (MAN) and Birmingham (BHX) on a very regular basis. Taking a hire car from the airport is recommended to truly get the most from the area.
