Wadebridge is a town in North Cornwall, situated on the Camel estuary. It is named after the large old bridge that runs through the middle of the town. The town has the normal assortment of supermarket, newsagents, butchers, and many restaurants, cafes and pubs. Set out from your Cornish cottage to Bodmin General and you can enjoy a steam train journey through the beautiful countryside on the Bodmin and Wenford Railway.

Lanhydrock House is a late Victorian county house run by the National Trust. It has extensive gardens, servant's quarters, wooded estate, family museum and guided garden tours.
