Spacious Xeraco beach is just a short walk from the town centre, and part of the Costa Azahar – the Orange Blossom Coast, Spain. The golden sands and clean waters mean that the beach has received the EU Blue Flag Award, making it ideal for families, and those looking to relax and top up their tan are unlikely to be disturbed in this quiet area of the coast. Near the beach are a good range of cafes, shops and snack bars, so you will never have far to venture for a refreshing drink or something to eat.
The town centre is also largely unspoilt, thanks mainly to a limit on the number of high-rise apartments that can sometimes blight coastal towns. A full range of shops, cafes, restaurants, banks and local businesses can be found here, so you will never have far to go to stock up supplies in your Xeraco holiday rental apartment.
The La Safor mountain range can be viewed from the town, and heading into the foothills is rewarded with panoramic views for miles around. Hikers, walkers and climbers have much to interest them in the mountains, with a series of challenging walks to be enjoyed. Mountain villages such as Barxeta display a way of life far different to that of the coastal towns, and provide an interesting insight for any visitor to the area.
